Amplified Projects

I made a Ravelry Wordpress Plugin, as you can see to the right. It displays progress bars for my current projects on Ravelry. I made some changes to the default so that it would look better on my theme. All in all I like it. Let me know what you think!

Currently the width and color are editable from the options menu.

This is a very easy widget to use, just activate, add it as a widget, plugin your information and its in your site!

Edit: I have made this plugin available for download here. Also, I just got approved to post my plugin on wordpress, now it will be publicly available.

I need some good ideas for iPhone apps, something that hasn’t been done, or needs to be done better. Give me your suggestions please.

I made some bug fixes to the sudoku solver.

It now checks for unsolvable sudoku puzzles
Fixed a bug that caused the program to not be able to solve some puzzles.

EDIT: Does not work on mac yet, I am trying to resolve this issue.

EDIT: It now works on mac and you can press the Esc button to clear the grid.

I removed Minesweeper from the website, at least for now. It wasn’t working, and its about 5 years old. I’ll need to spend a little time getting it going again.

I updated the Tetris page, check it out. It is now embedded in the page theme! I also posted some instructions on the Project page.

I found out I’m going to Aruba! My mom won a trip at one of those time share promos and she is going to take me with her! I can’t wait! It will be sometime in the next year, I need to get my passport and stuff together soon.

On a side note, I’m working on a sudoku solver, I might find some way to post this on the site too.

I updated the Tetris Applet. The pieces now move steadly toward the bottom of the main playing area. Left Mouse button moves the piece left and the Right Mouse button moves the piece right. If you move the mouse into the main playing area, the game will pause. You cannot rotate pieces, and lines will not disappear when you fill them, these are things that are coming soon.

I added a projects page where I hope to display my current projects and ones that I have finished. For now I’ve added the Tetris game I’m working on for my Computer Graphics class. I’ve also added Minesweeper, a game I wrote in high school

Currently Tetris just displays some random tetroids, pauses when your mouse enters the play field, and quits when you click the quit button. Not too much so far, and definitely not playable, but its a start.
